When Was Enough . . .. . . Enough?

Now now ladies, play nice !!!!!!:):):)

i agree with the whole pointless high powered front wheel drive cars... just ask saab...

Why do so many people on here asume that FWD cars only ever accelerate from a standing start or out of hairpins. If you think about your average drive out how often do you do this. High power from a FWD is perfectly OK as long as you have a bit of driving ability :P

Its mid range pull that you use 99% of the time and being a Nurburgring addict I wish I had more power. Theres probably only 1 corner when you drop into second gear, all the others are third upwards and the start is a rolling one.

JUST BECAUSE A CAR HAS 300+ BHP DOES NOT MEAN YOU NEED TO USE IT ALL THE TIME.

I might give the FIA an email and suggest they limit F1 cars hoursepower to less than 500 because at the moment they are capable of spinning the wheels!

But i thought that all accelerator pedals were just on or off :D

High power front wheel drive cars work now as manufactures' know how to build them better but sadly many drivers dont know how to drive them. Yes a Porker might handle better in the wet round the ring but if its wet and your in a porker you less likely to use it.

Enough is never enough

End of.

asking front wheels to handle the power and the steering is just too much for any car/tyre... hence why supercars dont come in FWD... infact very few high powered cars a FWD...

and its all well saying on the nurburgring u barely go below 3rd gear but in every day driving, which all of us do, your barely out of them...

asking front wheels to handle the power and the steering is just too much for any car/tyre.

So why did you buy one then ????

because my fwd isnt above 230.... so the front wheels can just about cope.

They can't cope as standard. But with the right tweaks they can cope as has been said.:)

High powered front wheel drive cars can corner perfectly acceptable. (with the right setup).

I only stopped with my vrs because of biggest bang for buck and the same of my current car although when my current turbo packs up I will be going for a FMIC and Hybrid turbo just because I might aswell as the turbo has blown.

No problems with traction there
