have had car running

ignition not working properly, turn key to illuminate ignition lights nothing turn a fraction further and the lights (used to) illuminate and then turn a bit further the car would start

now when i turn the key i get a red light with an exclamation mark in it

is there anybody who knows how to get my ignition lights back before i abandone project:confused:

Try disconnecting the battery for a whilst, reconnect and seeing if that clears the ECU.

Or are you saying nothing happens when the key is turned?

sounds like ignition barrel is shot

ignition lights have come back on

dont know how

but no spark have taken battery of to recharge hopefully when reconnected ECU will be cleared and will start

fiddling with block connectors the larger one above gearbox has slight corrosion any idea what this one is and what i can do to clean it

sorry car is 1.6 mpi
