Featured Replies

What a great drive. Well deserved IMO.

Great to see BMW doing well also.

Certainly the championship's looking tight this year!

Yeah good drive

I just wish jenson button would do well, his car was a real threat towards the end of the season a couple of years ago, what the hells happened !!!!!

Come on Honda, give jenson the car he deserves !!!

I dont like Hamilton that much,id like him to do well but hes too cocky and arrogant

Come on JB!!!

Barrichello was driver of the day IMHO. Given that he has a supremely inferior car he did very well.

Hope kimi doesnt win it again, hes such a miserable git

Yup, a very good job.

My vote would be Heifeld tho for his stunning overtaking.

Votes for best spin(off) of the day?

Talking of spin offs i realy thought Hamilton was going to come off the track at the start when he had that awesome start Always edge of the seat stuff at the beginning of every F1 race!

Bit gutted Coulthard spun out i reckon he could of done well in the rain

1st 2nd and 3rd places go to Massa

The rain certainly livened the race up a bit, at one point I thought they would have stopped the race. Masa just couldnt seem to get the power down, without the car going into a spin.

TBH after seeing the testing the other week, only the Mclarens and BMWs seemed to be the only ones set up 100% on the Wed of testing (aero and tyres).

Coming out of luffield onto the straight everyone else was twitchy. And that was in dry conditions!

The Mc's and BM's looked well set and cornered like they were on rails.

Which is the next race guys?

Hockenheim, Germany.

should be a good'n

He drove very, very well, and deserves his victory.

Well done - It's about time. :D

I was their soaked at stow, it was an amazing weekend from friday thro today!, Hamilton benifeted from a ferrari ****-up, kimmi made up 8 seconds on hamilton then they pitted i was shocked to see them leaving the tyres on because they thought it was not going to rain anymore when i was sat their getting soaked because it was ****ing down!.

Massa what can I say oh dear, me and the wife are huge ferrari fans have been for years n years so today was dissapointing but hamilton kept it on the black stuff apart from 1 hop over the grass..

Im made up for ruby tho he was awesome and JB was not all that bad either until he screwed it..

but guys i dont know if any of you went or know much about GP2 but man GP2 is worth the 200 pounds alone F1 was a support race to them kids, they are awesome absolutly amazing they are so daring and just go for it amazing!

ill get some pics up and such tomorra

PS i just read it back and my 7 year old can type better im very tired from the 3 days away and when i post pics i may edit this post to stop the useal rabble being fishermen

Shame I missed it all fitting a clutch on someones driveway getting rather soaked myself.

The rain is a great leveller in F1 I think.

It was good to see Lewis win.

An interesting way to describe someone who has spent most of a weekend signing autographs, and every time he was dragged away to do some corporate horse brutality left saying "I'll be back", and actually delivered on it.

i was at stowe as well, Barichello was my driver of the day, massa just had a nightmare, oh well, I like massa aswell, gottA love hamilton though, we went nuts when he won. what a race.

I'm not a Hamilton fan, but thought he drove well. It would have been interesting if Ferrari had put a new set of intermediates on Kimi's car at the first stop, as he was 1 second a lap quicker than Hamilton on worn tyres and would surely have had a chance to take him later in the race.

I think part of Barrichellos success was down to them selecting full wets - which must have been down to Ross Brawns smart thinking (oh how Ferrari must wish they still had him in the team).

got to say well done to hamilton, but he is an arrogant **** needs taking down a peg or two

Great drive by Hamilton, but I have to agree with the comments about him not being the most endearing of competitors. I dislike him intensely and wouldn’t care if he never won the World Championship. Yet another miserable Brit sportsman:thumbdwn:. Look at Andy Murray and Mark Cavendish, never mind out football players, what happened to the James Hunts, Graham Hills and Jack Charlton types? I would like Mark Webber to win as he has promised to do donoughts if he is victorious.:)

Ross Brawn says that all their real development work is going into next years car, so hopefully Jenson will have a better car under him next season.:)

I hope so,he so deserves it;)
