Hi guys,

Thinking of replacing my Fabia Vrs with another diesel, but hopefully with a good amount of oomph, decent eceonomy and a DSG gearbox or summat similar.... what are people's experiences with the DSG setup? I want to give my left leg a rest, esp. as most of the traffic now, esp on the motorway is stop-start. But I also want some sort of manual option for when I want to go for a cross-country blast!

The Golf DSGs look ok, but still as expensive (£11 -£12k) for a 55reg one. Want a newer car as mine is an 05!

And an Octavia is really too big for my needs!

Any I can't afford a lovely Beemer with the Efficient Dynamics :(

Any advice...???

Has the Jetta been fitted with a DSG option yet?

New Jetta has been since day one iirc. Not cheaper than the Golf though for the most part and if the Octavia is too big I would guess the Jetta is also.
