No worries Ken...................shame about Toseland's time, he seems to be struggling since the UK round?

What happened to Colin?

Rossi not doing too well is he?

Go on James!!!!

Was at Donnington for the British race , right on the corner that james came off :(

Awfull!!!

But as he got back on , he got a large applause from the crowd , very uplifting

Sarah

oh wow,

Can't say ive seen many bike related threads before.

Come on Toseland

anyone know what time its on eurosport 2moro?

Just watched Qualifying, Casey is fairly on it. Quite surprising after his big off at the top of the hill yesterday. Rossi looks a little stumped as to how to make up the time, 7th on the grid, not so good (especially with his grid starts).

16 laps to go and my nerves are shot!!:(

Thank gawd that's over!!

Have to give credit to all those boys for such pace in such grim conditions:thumbup:, however for 3 successive races Stoner has dominated. I'm sure none of us saw this coming 6 weeks a go, I know I didn't!! I thought it was all over for Stoner.

Strange season this one:confused:........with things swinging so far one way and then the other.

Gutted about Pedrosa though, as it would have been a good extension on leadership points.

America next week:thumbup:.

Bloody awful conditions in Germany!!

Pedrosa was setting a blistering pace, but I guess that he found the limit of his rain tyres!!

I think Stoner is happy with the bike & engine now & will continue to win races, or at least finish in the top 3.

You're not wrong about it being a strange season!!

Mad race, Dani really checked out but his luck ran out. That was a bad crash he had and could possible miss Laguna Seca, Pedrosa injury update. | MOTOGP News | Crash.Net

When Casey took the helm he look really comfortable. After Vale's qualifying position 2nd is a great result. There was no way he was gonna catch Casey.

For Stoner - Its amazing the difference a different set up can make.

Btw did anyone hear Vale commentating the 125's on Eurosport, I heard it was supposed to be very funny.

Cheers for that.

Fair play to Stoner, he was "first man standing", so why was he whining about it? I'm not saying Vale would have won from the front row, but he'd have made a better "race from the front" of it if he'd been further up I think.

Yeah, I caught a few mintues of him commentating.

He was his usual self! :D

When asked what he makes of the technology in the bikes such as traction control, he said it has become very boring - in a joking sort of way!

Again I missed the post race interviews. What was he whining about?

Cheers

I'm not exactly sure; I just realised he was whining again and tuned him out.

Yeah, hilarious.:P

yeah it was brilliant!

he pretty much took over the commentry box, lol.

I'm actually enjoying seeing jorge lorenzo do well this year, I think (if he stops crashing) that he will do really well in moto gp.

Such a shame about danni, He was doing so well.

Why does casey stoner get abuse from fans at race tracks. - at the riders for health a few years ago he got boo'd off. (i didn't see that mcn said about it)

I'm hoping Jorge will recover his confidence and stop crashing badly too. Evidence suggests that when/if he does, he'll be a threat in future years too.

Stoner is a dislikeable whiner; as noted, he's even whining when he's winning!

I get the impression he's not very good with fans, ie signing autographs etc. I know a young fella you went to a couple of moto gp races and mentioned it. Maybe he's just the shy type and is taken up the wrong way ala Dani :)

TBH I reckon the Ducatti must be pumping out 20 to 30BHP more than the other bikes - and the only reason Stoner 'stays on' is that they've set the traction control on to such extreme settings to 'cater for' his style of riding.

But it's the way it delivers that power too.

Personally I don't think that the speed difference is anywhere near as obvious as it was early last season, with all the factory teams now being pretty much the same. This season I've seen all the top riders/bikes getting a tow down the straights and making passes on each other, including the Duke being drafted.

As for the traction control, all of em are using it albeit maybe to different degrees. However I do feel that you are being a bit harsh on Stoner as the Duke certainly slides about, as witnessed on Sunday and in numerous other races.

I think the lad deserves credit for picking himself up after such poor results early on and then destroying the field for the past three races, just as Rossi did for the 3 prior:thumbup:.
