Unlike Bartenders, this is entertaining, and features characters that mostly get on with each other! :)

hi folks, sorry for not updating this for a while, i've been eternally busy at work, it's one of the drawbacks of working in professional theatre, when you do panto you don't see daylight for about 3 months.

anywho, enough about that

been working on a uprated rear engine/gearbox mounting with pinkskud.... cheers for your help with this ed.

here's the first prototype of the mounting plate that goes onto the back of the gearbox, at this stage it is only 2mm mild steel, but this to check the spacing and offsets etc and work on the dimensions of the other parts

ok, just so you can get an idea of what's going on, here is the standard mounting

lol, i think today i have hit an all time low, can anybody spot the deliberate mistake here??

this is a double epic fail, firstly because i've ovbiously sent ed the wrong drawing, and secondly because i underestimated just how much oil was in this gearbox

edit: and third because i can't spell obvious

I'm sure that third hole is meant to line up with the bolt further up :D

Yep, definitely a fail :P

Keep up the good work though Tom :)

epic fail indeed.
