my 1.3mpi felly has got a misfire i have noticed it over past few days it drives fine and doesnt seem to affect it whilst been driven but when shes idling and get out the car there seems to be a tick noise every few seconds and it will missfire for a second any suggestions? :(

I agree, inlet manifold gasket.

It makes it misfire because there needs to be particularly controlled mixture of fuel and air to enable the engine to idle right. Too much air makes it lumpy and can sound like it is misfiring at low revs (under 2,000) as the mixture is to pot.

When you step on the gas more air and fuel is needed and because a small leak at the inlet manifold is small in comparison with the air needs at higher revs it is not an issue apart from at idle
