new felicia HELP!!

Featured Replies

hi there my good friend has just brought a felicia and she has a few problems when the car is warm the revs are really hight also where does the vag plug into the felicia the engine is a 1.6 and its a w reg with 90k

ive seen on here about re-setting the ecu by takind the barrery for an hour or so but does this effect the car stero and if so where can i get the code for her

maby someone can point me in the right direction:thumbup:

thanks

IMHO i would chande the temp sender first ,as these are troublesome and can screw up just about everythingon the engine that is temp related. The obd connector is under the dash on the drivers side, and the stereo code should be in the hand book

thanks mate will give it a bash

Agreed.

If that's not the problem, check that the throttle cable goes slightly slack with the engine off (hot or cold, but cold's more comfortable for the mechanic), and that the idle stop's correctly positioned.
