Fabia vrs pd130 standard turbo and clutch

Featured Replies

Standard turbo should take 200 BHP, but will not last very long especially if being abused.

It is a very tricky subject with the pd130 turbo, the KKK(i think) turbo used in the ibiza variant of the pd130 has been rolling roaded at 202bhp, running with various mods. for a healthy life i would take 160-170 to be good for it. should be fine with 180 as long as you keep her in good nick :D.

Clutch wise, i would recommend keeping money on the side for a new clutch, especially if you want to plant your foot at 1800 revs :D.

135ps/435NM = 187bhp/321lb/ft

thanks for the maths lesson

the man in question at the time had his sig read as him having 250bhp and 530nM where it now reads as going for those figures but yeah, thanks anyway

We've got a few seatcupra members running the P-Torque software on their Ibiza 130pd's, and have seen 175+bhp and 300lbs/ft torque from our stage 1.

Ideal figures are approx 170bhp and 290lbs/ft torque on a stock set up

Just about to get ma vrs uprated to 175bhp and 318lb/s of torque. Would there be any danger in the clutch, engine and turbo with this inprovement??

Clutch is rated at 300lb/ft, so yes, anything over 300lbs/ft is too much on the stock clutch

So what would be recomonded for mine...not entirely sure what it's putting out...has a Revo map.

Would i just need a clutch plate ? As i already have a spare DMF.
