Ive just ordered some roof bars and a 415ltr box for my car in time for our 8 day camping trip next week. Last time our poor Lab only had about an eighth of the rear seat, this time he'll be able to lord it up in the back as usual. Was chastising myself for buying a less than practical car, never really considered a roof box until i saw this thread. £160 all in is a damn sight cheaper than trading up, can keep my fun engine this way too.
