Buy a dension kit, they cost a bit more, but they work very well.

I've had a connects 2 ipod interface fitted for a good few years now. Can't fault it. Plugs straight into the CD changer socket.

I've got one of the cables from Bluespot but the head unit doesn't recognise the iPod as the external on the Touch keeps working.

Am I missing something such as changing pin outs?

I've been doing some research.. and soon plan to try and "con" the factoy HU into letting my hook up an AUX line in.

I'm not sure it'll work.. but apparently allot of the AUX in adapters are just 10k resistors across two of the pins to send a low voltage current to one of the Data channels which is how the HU detects a changers presence. On allot of units doing this is all that's needed to open the line in channels for the changer..

I'll post when I finally do this as I'm sure it'll be a popular mod.. if you never hear.. it didn't work.. lol

A weekend of tinkering has failed to get it working as expected. I take it it just slots into the CD Changer slot, but which pin-outs does it use?
