I need to insure a Fun for the first time. The comparison sites dont appear to recognise it. Does anyone know whare I might get a good deal and what I am likley to pay. I am 47 with clear everything.

You need to look at the commercial/van insurance companies. One place that does list the fun is eVan Insurance - Welcome to eVan Insurance There'll be many more around but at least there's one more quote.

I went on confused.com, and ended up with the best quote coming from the post office. When it all went through it was actualy insured with a company called Fortis, who i was insured with the year before, but £45 cheaper. I now pay about £240 fc with full no claims

Try NFU, or a proper insurance broker rather than an "only interested in easy things" website.
