soo thet Fabia WRC is still a 1.9 TDi with 170BHP if i worked that out right

and yup sorry i think its Gorjus shame its near

Admittedly the bonnet vents could be smoothed in to give a lesser Haynes/Mack Spewer look and the tail is a bit Hot Wheels.... but ,I-still-want-one.

bar the rear spoiler - this is how the vRS should have looked at launch. Skoda have made a good start by trying to differentiate themselves from the rest of the VW/Audi/etc group. The blistered arches and vents would have certainly given the edge to the 'out-there' branch of the group!

I've often thought this about the Octy also - if only it looked meaner as standard I'm sure it would have shifted more units (although the number I see on the roads now would seem to suggest otherwise). If you're going to make a hot version of a brand why not go in guns blazing and (for example) drop the car a couple of inches as standard?

Think of the cult following a car like the Delta integrale has - totally distinct because of it's huge blistered arches and overall visually stunning 'effect'. A damn fine car as standard but a tribute to the car that most owners turn their attention to the engine and brakes rather than spending money on the visual characteristics of the car when uprating. Seems like most guys who buy the performance edition of a brand nowadays spend lots of money and effort making them look different from how the factory intended...

I like the car with Chevette HSR stylee arches, although I don't like bonnet vents or the overly large rear bench

However if a road going Fabia WRC 4x4 was offered (even with the bench) I would sell my grandmother.

hello i am tunermaniatico2 from Palma de Mallorca (spain)I dont not speak english very well sorry ,but i to try to make bette possible ok?

This is my fabia:

imagen0196ga.jpg

think he means where can i buy the rear wrc spoiler from

Now my sums may also be wrong, but it certainly looks like it's got in excess of 170BHP, but I'll leave you lot to thrash out what "124 kW (169 k)[/b']" means in BHP.

124 KW equates to 166.3 bhp or almost 170 PS. Tasty!

Hello everybody. I'm from Majorca, I'm a friend of tunermaniatico2, and I'm here to ask to all you about the rear wrc spoiler shown on the photos -I think they are similar BUT different models of spoilers-.

If anyone has some info -you know, some brand, web or reference- for these spoilers or models that are lot-of-similar, please contact tunermaniatico2.

Thanks to all you and what a great page !

PD: tunermaniatico means maniac tuner :)

ripspeed anybody?

Skoda plans rally-spec Fabia special edition

Skoda is planning a small run of World Championship edition Fabias with the awesome styling of its WRC car. Skoda chairman Detlef Wittig recently said the company is keen to make the most of its rally championship participation in 2005 by bringing "WRC features to our production models". This could include a 197bhp turbo petrol engine and rally car's huge rear wing and flared arches.

But the big questions are does it have leccy rear windows and how long does it take to warm up? ;)

And is it better than an Octy.

If they give it the 2.0FSI turbo and 4wd... maybe...

:rofl: Seems to be the only two things people are concerned with the Fabia!

That would be tempting for sure...

Never got to go in Neo's round Anglesey to see how they felt under pressure. Suffice to say I'm sure most cars can be tightened up...I know mine is now transformed compared to the previous attempts. So it might be time to save up for a Thule roof box ;)
