I drove the 170 Superb in SE spec, and it is a fine car. Where abouts are you based? Tarrants in Cork have an Elegance in Blace with Cream (not sure on carpet colour tho) sitting in their showroom, your dealer might be able to do some sort of deal with him for that car and cut out the wait, but not sure it has all the toys you want.

That is the car that changed my mind. I was the first behind the wheel after it rolled off the transporter. They were still washing the 'delivery goo' from it when I arrived.

It does not have the park assist or the sun blinds on the rear doors. Other than that it is the machine I will be getting. I need to put a hitch on it as well which costs a small fortune.

Eamonn Tarrant will be dead happy. That's the 7th car I have bought from him and my wife is on her 3rd Fabia. We are a happy Skoda household.

Just re-read my earlier post about chipping and realised I hit the wrong key, which is why I guess vRSLen replied 'we wish'. Erm, yeah, I meant to say that after chipping you could get 200bhp, NOT 300, so apologies for inflating anyone's expectations there!
