Well after some fab times with my second MkII vRS, my pride and joy is going to be put back to standard and will be going at the end of the month :(. There are a few bargains to be had for those of you who have modified TFSI's in the for sale section but tbh it breaks my heart to have to do it, it's been a great car and has given me some fab times especially at the many Briskoda meets we've been to not least the people I've met and spoken to on here.

All good things come to an end at some point I suppose

You lokoing at an Octy TDI or 1.8T on the company or are you likely to end up stuck in a ford/vauxhall or bmw/merc?

In fact once I've replaced all the mods it'll have a virtually brand new susspension, air filter/housing and exhaust too!

Why have you put it back to standard Steve? Wouldn't that be a selling point?

I did not even consider selling it with all the modifications on it for two main reasons, the first being that it's not easy to sell cars at the moment let alone one with relatively high levels of modifications and high mileage realtive to the year, I've seen with others try and fail and need to get shot of it quick!

The second is the thought of someone buying it and a few months down the line something went wrong, I would not forgive myself and feel responsible as the modifications have been MY decision and not those of the new owner.

Well, that's very honest of you. Shame though, such a car.
