Yes, a guide to the plastic removal would be good. Also is that a custom piece of mesh?

Hi Guys,

sorry for the very late reply but i sold the Fabia and Bought a Mondeo ST just after xmas, so very rarely come on here anymore.

The Plastic removal was straight forward really. I removed the front bumper, got that ghastly number plate holder off and the very carefully cut away the plastic that the number plate holder was attached to using a stanley knife with a brand new blade.

It sounds daunting but it was actually very easy and with some patience you can do it neatly.

The mesh is just the ripspeed stuff that halfords sell. Can't recall the exact size, but you might want to measure the gap where the grill was to ensure you buy the correct dimensions.

I can't remember what the name of the product is that i used to hold the mesh in place, but it was a putty that self hardens as it drys. I only used one tube, but could have done with 2 really. This was also bought from Halfords.

As for attaching the front number plate, i used some very strong double sided sticky tape, and it was held on very firmly.

I didn't make a guide as i was in a rush to get the job done, so i can't help with a step by step guide i'm afraid.
