Can anyone spot the difference between these 3 Pics of my car. They were taken between 0800 and 1000 on Saturday morning. I know its gonna be extremely difficult to spot but if you look hard you will see it:rolleyes:

The little scratch you can see on the screen in the second picture was done by Customs:mad: Which i am not happy about but at the moment that is an ongoing matter between me, the seller and Customs in the UK and Spain.

The Item was packaged correctly by the seller that is obvious from the packaging. However someone either in Spain or the UK has opened it up and sliced through the bubble wrapping with a Knife and caught the Screen.:mad:

However it works superbly and have been well impressed. Cant say anymore than what VRStu already put in his review. Its definatley worth every penny and recommend anyone to get on ebay and buy one.

it niiice! I think I prefer just the black background TBH, although i bet it looks better in the real.

Another one, these MFD3's are becoming popular. Yours looks different to mine, in the marking front. Maybe yours is a superb one which is different to the octy version and may have issues if you have steering wheel controls.

**** customs, that mark on the screen will really bug me. Because the parcel came from one EU country to another I dont know why they opened it. Mine arrived untouched although not from spain. I hope you get it sorted somehow.

Its defo an Octavia one as its part number was 1Z0 something or other.

With regards the scratch once the unit is switched on you cant notice it (although i can cos i know its there:mad:

Will hopefully get it resolved but as its a customs fu*k up im not holding my breath

I thought it was a Superb unit too when I saw the pics as they have the Columbus logo on the fascia, perhaps they have changed them now. Carl, next time you plug your laptop in send me the part number over.

I've had some customs opened parcels and they are abismal, they really do have an attitude problem I think.

What's the average price for these? Do they have the green illumination? What sat nav software do they run? Can you run tom tom etc etc?

There is no average price Mickey. You just have to get lucky on Ebay. Some have gone for around £600 i paid a bit more. Yes they do have Green illumination if you get a genuine skoda one. VW one's are red and have VW Splash Screen.

Why you would want to run tomtomwith one of these is beyond me. I have a TomTom 720T and i prefer the columbus to the TomTom after using it this weekend

I think I got lucky last week - brand new MFD3 with V3 mapping and all the bits - £580

No one seemed to be bidding! (think it was due to the slightly off title it had) :P

I bought DVDs from Spain a couple of times before the BBFC relaxed its rules on what could be in an R18 (all fairly vanilla stuff, I hasten to add!), and seeing how strictly speaking the stuff I was ordering was contraband, I never once had a package opened. I did have a delivery left with a neighbour who had a reputation for being extremely nosey one time though!

Im an impatient foooooker and the black surround was annoying me TBH so i just went and bought the stuff to do it myself. Ill still take it off you as i can always keep a spare incase that one gets scratched etc
