The above picture of the C4 in pewter looks a lot better. It was immaculate and had refurbed alloys too. I would have bought it myself if I wasn’t so badly paid at the time.:D

I'm saving myself for one of these...

Nice. There are some great looking retro and prototype cars in America.

There is indeed.. I hope this one looks as good when it goes into production and rumour has it that we will get a RHD version as well.:cool:

Does this class as off topic yet?

IMHO you cant call yourself a true car fan unless youve owned a TVR

Yes theyre unsafe

Yes theyre unreliable

Yes theyre expensive to run

BUT MY GOD ARE THEY SEXY CARS

T350C FOR ME ALL DAY EVERYDAY

I can't say I've seen a TVR yet that I've thought I must have one of those in my life... but I do agree that they sound lovely. :D

With or without the optional minigun? ;)

I've always wanted an elise as a weekend car but cant afford it yet.

Ideally, i'd have an EXIGE. Thats the puppy for me!

The trouble with the Elise, at least for me is its very awkward to climb out of. If you are a nubile young flexible person you can still look cool. Most other people look like ‘middle age crisis’ folk struggling to get in and out of it. I am reasonably tall too and it doesn’t help if I want to elegant………….absolutely no chance what so ever.:(:D

why not get your golf on the road and do something mad with that?

keep with the times  the golf has moved on now  Although I did sell it to Ruku the other night for a £10 when i was wasted

I am still drawn to the tuscan but as of yet I cant get quotes for them :(

still only a young un.

I have found the perfect monster too

2005 05 Lotus Exige Touring Coupe Just 14k & FLSH on eBay, also, Lotus, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 02-Oct-08 15:34:14 BST)

How about a v6 Clio?

They're under £10k now and should be a giggle. :D

I dunno about the clio, Its never really intrested me.

I dont know what it is about it tho.

Maybe cos deep down inside i still know its a clio

Off to look at a few cars this morning :D

Come on then John, Spill the beans, what you off to look at today?

I would buy my old VXR8 back if I had enough money to run the damn thing.

It was by far the best car I have ever driven and the best thing Vauxhall ever did was import Holdens.

I miss it but if I did own her again she would be wrapped up in the garage and driven in the dry and at weekends only.

I was going to add a vote for a vx220 if you've not bought anything yet.

On monday I had a passenger ride around silverstone in a vx-t and the only thing faster was Gavin Kershaw in a GT4 spec 2-11.

It has a boot, is comfy on long journeys, does 35mpg+ and is under £500 for insurance.

Edit: if I didn't care if I ever saw the money again - tvr350 you only live once

what's on the desired list then ?

Everything from Nissan 200sx S14a's to elises to yet another mk2 golf.

Need to sort my finances out first and getting a loan in this current econmic climate is like extracting blood from a stone.
