After a hectic weekend I have finally caught up with the practice/qualifying and race!

How funny was that to see the World Champ sliding up the track - very is the answer:rofl::rofl::rofl:. Good ride from Mr Rossi in the race though, considering how battered he must have felt.

Really pleased that he didn't put one over Stoner on his own turf though, and hats off to Stoner for such a dominant victory.

Was the first lap a crash contest?

On a different note, a well deserved 3rd championship to Bayliss in WSBK and a big punch in the head to Robin Harms for punting off Johnny Rea and ruining his championship hopes.

Yeah, have to agree, Stoner deserved the win.

When he gets out the traps like that he is awesome.

What's everyone's views on the new One make tyre rule next season??

I'm okay with it, after all it didn't ruin WSBK as was the worry when it hit that series.

Motogp is the Pinnacle of Motorcycle racing obviously, so why hamper it with a One make tyre rule. It didnt make WSBK anymore entertaining either though??

It probably won't make a lot of diference to the racing but it will slow down tyre advancement greatly as there is no one to "catch up" with.

This is exactly what the ruling body want as it will keep the speed down which is what they are always trying to do. (999s - 800s, limited fuel, etc).

But not sure if individual teams can specify a certain compound or will it be, here are the tyres to be given out to all teams?

I think it will be the latter??

I think the differences in the Factory bikes compared to the Customer bikes will be even greater now that they will all be on the same tyres.

On another note, how good was it to see Hayden beat Pedrobot yet again???? Absolute class!!!!

I've always really liked Hayden, i just hope he can get to grips with the Ducati next year.

Just watched the race on iPlayer at lunch time.

Had the earphones on & kept cheering when JT passed Rossi!!! Work colleagues keep laughing at me now!!

Great race. Stoner deserved to win.

It was a great race to watch, especially the 3-6/7 position dices throughout.

JT had it well sorted down the straight, staying on the right side.

Great to see Hayden be top Honda again
