Not so early this Sunday

8.00 am start to this Sunday's GP in China. How will the stewards ruin this one? or make sure the championship goes to the last race in Brazil.

The problem with the chinese GP is that half an hour later you want another one:D

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rofl:

Does that mean the last race in Brazil will be "Nuts":O

I'll get me coat.:)

Piquet was on the radio this morning saying that Hamilton doesn't deserve to win the championship....and Kubica should be the champion .....perhaps that's what the powers that be are trying to engineer

The other drivers are not happy about Hamiltons' driving & they want to discuss 'moving in the braking areas' at the drivers meeting. I can see some more penalties this weekend.

I think the Brazilian will be a close shave

'Close shave'? wasn't that Wallace & Grommit?:D

cannt wait. Its getting like car crash tv. I don't want to look at it but cannt help myself

I think the Brazilian will be a close shave

:rolleyes::D:thumbup:

I'll watch the start then before going to work!

Bets are penalties will leave both drivers (or maybe even all 3 - great odds) level pegging for Brazil.

Donnelly just wont be able to resist.

There is a rumour going around that Jean Todt will leave Ferrari at the end of the season and that Max Mosley wants him to be his vice president at the FIA. Game set & match to Ferrari I think:thumbdwn:

I doubt whether it will be possible to be as dull as the last 2 races. I vote for Kubica as well just to upset everyone

Looking forward to it. Start should be interesting for Hamilton,

Raikennan next to him, Massa behind him, add to that Alonso over his

shoulder, interesting first corner. Just get a feeling it's going to go all

wrong for Hamilton, hope I'm wrong.

I predict he will lose , either due to a stupid mistake (like a pitlane collision or red mist) or a stupid penalty (like not driving a ferrari) rather than just being beaten on track.

Now here's an interesting one for the conspiracy theorists - what happens if Hamilton ends up driving for Ferrari at some point..... What would happen then?

Mosely is standing down next year, so must want an "approved" replacement I assume.;)

Ferrari don't look to hot at the moment

Ferrari don't look to hot at the moment
once the stewards have penalised everyone ahead of them for breach of rule 125.9 sub section c "being ahead,or looking like finnishing ahead of a ferrari" the result will be taylored to suit the suits:rolleyes:

Pretty dull race, Hamilton looked in control for a change. Very impressed with the way Massa got his act together and hauled in and flew past Kimi:rolleyes:

Intersting point about Max wanting tenders from engine / drive train suppliers for F1. This goes against the principle of F1, but if Ferrari win such a contract in theory they will win every race:D

Rather wished I'd had a lie in.

Tedium set in after the first few laps in what was a pretty boring race, though in fairness to Hamilton he had a well-measured drive.

Pity the stewards were given the day off, could have done with some more controversy if for no other reason than it would have kept this thread going for at least a week :D

I'd been recording it so I didn't make any special effort to get up , fortunately.

Not a good race for spectators , but I'm sure McLaren won't mind

Yes rather boring

At least it will make the last race a bit more interesting (Maybe  )

but I'm sure McLaren won't mind

Only in so much as Hamilton gained a couple of points on Massa, but McLaren lost 4 points to Ferrari in the constructors championship and that is probably more important for them and their sponsors.

Mclaren need to do something with Kovalainen, he's a good driver, but has hardly been on the pace to help his team this season. Average points scored per race: Hamilton=5.53, Kovalainen=3.00. Over at Ferrari, Massa=5.12, Kimi=4.06. BMW, Kubica=4.41.

Hamilton will have to face a very partisan crowd in Brazil and that won't be easy. I wonder if Bernie will switch Hamilton's engine off for thirty seconds, like he did last year.:D

I suspect Hamilton will be extra careful to come home in third... although depending on the weather it may not be the ferrari walkover it was last year.

Well let's hope Brazil is more exciting that this one. Was not worth getting out of bed for.
