have any of you replaced the coil on the felicia, does anyone have the specs for the OEM one, and have you ever fitted a more "powerfull" coil to your system, what have been your experience on this?

im thinking of changin mine since is giving out poor spark, plus has no balast resistor (is not the OEM) os is important to change

The coil packs on the MPI aren't bulletproof either but touch wood no probs so far.

i was thinking of a MSD system, ignition, coil and ht but all i realy need is the specs to change the coil so the ignition doent die (main voltage, does it need balast resistor etc.)

and to get the spark the car needs

i'm not familiar with the carb models, but the coil on the mpi models has the amplifier/ recitfier and balast built into one uit
