Interesting move you have made there! Ive always loved the rear bumper on the vRS and the chunky cut out for the exhaust, but hey each to their own i guess!

That'll cure the knocking then ! :D

How noisy is it?

Bet it sounds cool! Does it have a petrol turbo'ish sound to it now?

looks sweet. What was the reasoning behind this exhaust choice?

It is quite loud.

There's a link to a video in the first topic if you can find it.

My computer is major gubbed.

Cant ever see what im posting now.

Ha.

It does sound like a pertol turbo, just alot meaner!

The turbo spool noises are immence and when changing gear it sounds ever better, like its dumping!

StuNo1- Im going for the smooth "Euro" look with my car. Getting the bumer recess smoothed over, cant have a big backbox like standard.

Been quoted for alot more work so watch my build up thred in the next couple of months.

Sounds kindov tinny if you get what i mean??

Should look good euro'd

oooo i think i want something similar :D but i'd keep the standard tailpipe and just ditch the boxes.

Theres no middle box just the back box and cat

Eh??

Doesnt sound tinny to me to me, sounds very 'whooshy!'

Not my kind of thing, but each to there own:thumbup:

I must be getting old!!!:(

Ian:)

Sounds like a 500Bhp tractor flying down the road at 80mph lol

Not sure if i fancy getting rid of the tailpipe. Sounds quite good, but is there anychance of hearing it from the outside? ;)

I'm probably going to be trying for something even shorter. ;)

you know you want a classy exhaust like bengie had on his TD Nova, it went something like turbo -> flexi -> 3 inch pipe exiting in front of either rear wheel :D

.....and not a hint of smog to be seen......... ;):)

and...[Dr. Nick]it's whisper quiet[/Dr. Nick] :D

Mine might not be as classy as that one, but along those lines. ;)

that video used to have sound :(

is it just me or does the first video just sound like a car with a blowing exhaust?

and it sounds nothing like a petrol turbo, you should hear my mazda if you want to hear a proper petrol turbo :)

bloody hell i've randomly found the original :D

now with sound!! :D :D :D

Bit of a sod to start was it? ;)

Good man.

I think this will be my next mod, but might get Turbo 1st.. to get the right downpipe.

Supose i could make it in two pieces.

How much did it cost to get made then?

Dave

in the cold it didn't start instantly but that was half of the fun :D

My Dads old LT31 used to smoke the street out when started from cold

Not sure I would be keen on the smoothed look but love the sound it makes.

Shall be watching the progress closely on this one
