Octy VRS Love Thread

Featured Replies

Had mine 12 months next wednesday.

42,800 miles so far and no regrets.

I admit prior to a 'by chance' test drive, I never considered Skoda. I was probably a bit of a badge snob.

I came from a Saab 95 2.2, before that Vauxhall Sri (Total Pooh!!). Before that a 318 and on and on. As I said - no regrets. Good for the P11d too!

Aye that does look nice that, but have you seen the price

yup, thats why im waiting for the new one for a couple of years, it'll have nearly halved in price by then, i hope :P

prefer the maxidot in the skoda though, the white colour looks much better than the audi orange

There in lies the reason why it's the best car you've ever owned - comparing it to Ford/Vauxhall

Well, compared to a 2006 C-Class Estate, the Octavia is better.

Easiest car to live with I have ever owned, so practical and does what it says on the tin without fault.

Very happy owner - which is good, as I don't like the facelift :(

vRS > Evo 5 ;)

I love mine :D

Oh well,

if the thread is appliable to VRS TDI too, well I'm really loving my one. In these days on the highways I faced and passed "lakes" made by rain, the amount of rain falled here in north Italy was "absurd", yet my Octy was as reliable and fast as always.

Only I find the fog lights not giving so much improve over xenons dipped beam under heavvy heavvy rain. Perhaps I should upgrade fog lamps...

BTW, are they H8?

I'd love to own one as my next car, does that count?

:iagree:

Mines still available :D

Easy Tigers!!

I must have read it wrong and assumed that he had not enjoyed the whole skoda experience both with his own heaviliy modded vrs or oh the forum, and as such i was just asking what he meant.

Hey Make fish......... hope you come back to the vRS fold soon, the company car thing aint the end of the world......... mine is a company car! (Thats why i cant mod it yet!)

Im hooked ive had two .

A black mk1 octy vrs and now onto a black mk11 octy vrs .

What more can i say.

Regards Whoosh:thumbup:

Had mine over 2 1/2 years & it still puts a smile on my face :D

Unfortunately the very place where all this enthusiasm for the marque originated now has the opposite effect :(

Makefish, for what its worth, its like this in other brand's forums too.

Take my car, a 2002 Volvo V70XC. Its been the best car I've owned (so far :o) but gee, looking at Volvo Cross Country Resources: you'd be hard pressed to know that the XC was any good.

However, for me as a potential Octy RS buyer, its great to read through these forums, see the support that's here, the enthusiasm for the brand and the wealth of information for problem solving. I feel that I'm considering the purchase well informed by what I read here. Thanks everybody.
