have to say I'm a little nervous, have never ventured into Forum land before:)

Thought I would join as I have been a lover of the Fabia Vrs for a while, I don't have one but I will (as soon as I find one) hopefully!!!

Was going to take the plunge in 07 when the Special Edition was released, well I didnt and I got a Subaru Impreza WRX instead....... so should have gone for the Fabia:(

Anyway hopefully the Scooby is off to Surrey and its new owner this week, which leaves me with £5k and a renualt clio (part of the deal!!!! another story).

I hope to sell the Clio to add to my Fabia fund, but do have a little extra cash to cover in the mean time.

Any pointers of you guys would be most welcome:thumbup:

Oh and just browsing through the pages I notice abbreviations, I dont know what they mean sorry!!

Welcome! There's a few typical ones I can think of

SWMBO - she who must be obeyed

LOL - laugh out loud

IIRC - If I remember (or recall) correctly

PMSL - p**s MySelf Laughing

If there's any others, don't feel ashamed to ask - or even better - stick them in google search engine and it usually comes up. oh, and vRS stands for victory rally sport.

Plenty of vRSs on here for sale usually, good thing about buying from here is normally the cars are well looked after and cared for. Might even pick up a few mods free of charge as it were.

Difficult times at the moment but its fair to say ive bought and sold a fair ammount of cars in my time. I would always go for a car from someone I know or somewhere like this if buying privately.

If you're looking at 170bhp Furbies, you want some well-chosen suspension upgrades (sensible coilovers or Koni FSDs, and a rear ARB).
