Jorily Skoda... try...

As Act A Fool said - he's recommended by quite a few people on here and when I posted asking for places to get parts a couple of days ago he got in touch with me really quickly :-)

Hello fellow Leeds Briskodian :wavey::thumbup:

Hey anewman, you mean there's two of us around these parts then, I've never seen another Favorit on the road before! :-) Sent you a PM introducing myself.

There's a Favorit other than mine parked not far away, and I've seen a few on my travels. Had a Green one following me near Cardiff, followed a red estate and a blue one in Leeds. But it is a rarity to see them about, unfortunately I think they're slowly filtering off into the scrap yards.

I guess the OP has seen this caliper on Ebay? BRAKE CALIPERS NEW,SKODA, FAVORIT, FALICIA on eBay, also, Skoda, Car Parts, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 16-Dec-08 12:22:12 GMT) There's a make an offer option which suggests they'd be happy to take less than their asking price.

Saw quite a few today - in Ludlow near Shropshire as there is a Skoda garage (not dealer) in that area. I still see a few about - two regularly in my area

We can supply the brake calipers and they are Original.

if its just the bleed nipple thats snapped off they can be carefully drilled out with patience better off the car and in a pillar drill with a piece of tape marking the depth you want to go to. the hole must remain very central otherwise you'll remove the thread from the caliper which then wouldnt seal. set in a pillar drill vice with a drill the same size as the existing hole in the nipple then go up the drill sizes till you are close to the size of the thread sometimes when its thin you can just sort of pick the thin tube out with a scriber or alternateively when its a perfect size to retap the thread can be removed looking like a coil spring. doesnt always work but ive done it in the past on old fords
