Hi all!

Im conor, new to the site. Im from Co. Tyrone in Northern Ireland, and i have a black magic Fabia vRS!

this was the car a couple of weeks ago when i first picked i up...

it has the factory leather and cruise control options,and also has a factory remap to 170bhp.

only had it two days before it was off to the painters for a few bits and pieces...

i got sick of the grey on grey interior,so i thought id experiment...

this bit of experimenting has gotten fairly mixed reviews on my local forum,but imo anythinh from the standard dash is better...

also got the grill colour-coded,and a LCR splitter fitted-

shortly after getting the car back,i thought id try something with the front lights...

its called lamin-x,im sure most of you know of it!its a protective film for the headlights,i chose the dark smoke.at the start i was very undecided as to whether i liked it,but ive came around to it!

on thursday,i had weitec coilovers and a nicer font of number plate fitted!

and thats how the car currently looks!ive also added a pd160 intake and a green cotton filter!love the car so far,i actually had a silver one before this,had it three weeks before a drunk driver wrote me off!:thumbdwn:

Did you spray all the internals of your lights or is that a coat over the lense?

its just like a tint film,except specifically for headlights!it doesnt affect the brightness of the beams at all.its quite thick stuff,but fairly easy to apply!

Im going to get some red stuff for all red rears soon i think.

at the minute,no,due to lack of funds,although i am ordering a 10mm spacers for the rear tomorrow.eventually il be getting a set of euro-style rims,and try and concentrate on performence.oh and pressed plates.

Car looks as cold as the weather!!! Like what you have done with the dash, what sort of stuff did you use? also like the light film and lowered suspension, any plans for the wheels?

with a wider rear lip!...thoughts?

the dash is actually painted proper black magic!with the same paint used to paint the grill afaik!

I'm liking this one a lot! With the possible exception of the painted dash bits, but each to their own.

That looks really nice !, love the headlights !, I was over in Co.Tyrone (Cookstown) visiting the in-laws last week and only spotted one other Fabia vrs, didn't seem to be many about at all.

I just had a look in the archive not any Fabias on Keskins, 2 are on oz futura which are very similar.

I like how your tyring to find somthing thats not been done before.

Ive had a few sets of wheels on my Fabia that i have never seen on any other one before.

Unique is the way to go.

Nice work, except for the headlights. Was a popular mod with vauxhall vectras over here, but I don't really like it.

Don't get 10mm spacers. Get at least 15mm. I was running some 15mms for a week and they were barely noticeable and I was thinking of ordering 20 or 25mm.

Would tint film over the headlights pass MOT?

i think it depends on if the beam is dispersed.i dont find any difference tbh,but i couldnt garuntee it would pass,probably not though.

The lens has nothing to do with the beam pattern so shoud be fine.

thanks everyone,the lights tend to be a marmite thing on my local forum as well,as are the interior mods,but i quite enjoy being a bit different,whether people like it at first or not!

i wasnt sure whether the headlights or interior would look good,but id much prefer to go ahead try stuff like that than sit worrying about what it will look like!
