Hmmmmm, my car is finally here.....

Featured Replies

Just wait til I get them installed - I shall take loads of piccies!! And this evening I "penguinified" her - got three more stuffed penguins for Christmas, so I have one large one peeking out on parcel shelf, one mini one in the dashboard, one tucked under where the stereo goes, and one helping the tax disc holder stay on

So long as their not the penguins from Madagascar they may take over the car :rofl::rofl: Tidy looking car though can't wait to see it with new trims:thumbup:

Hiya Captain

Well I drove her to work for the first time this morning. Was a bit worried - I think the clutch is really really high, so will need to get that looked at. And I thought I was driving slowly but it was just some numbnut tailgating me :sour:

Was quite impressed - she whipped around corners, took on a mighty Brighton hill with no complaints, and looks so cute whilst doing it  Still not got my seat covers :slant: but the penguins definitely make her feel like mine!!!

Have I fallen in love yet?? No, not quite - but given a choice between the Rover and the Felicia I am steadily moving towards the Felicia as my first choice, something that I thought would take a lot longer than a week!!

If you're in a washing mood, wanna pop down and give my lil Cutie a spruce up?! ;)

Pop down to where......

and wouldn't anewman get jealous ;)

:D

You are too too kind! ;)

Hiya.

Since no-one else has mentioned it, MoT "advisories" are exactly that; advice that "in my opinion, this may need attention soon". Cars have passed several MoTs with the same advisories issued every time, or with advisories issued at on test, and then not again for years!

Oh cool - that's definitely reassuring then. More a case of 'we noticed this' rather than 'do this now or your car will fall to pieces'

Hubcaps arrived, and I braved the freezing temperatures to put them on. It was as easy as you guys said - flat head screwdriver to flick off the Skoda centre piece, then line up the hubcap and push it on! Looks good too

Any piccies?

Now Captain, you know I hate being cold!!!!! Actually we've lost the cable for the only digital camera we have :o:O Gonna try to lay hands on one this weekend and will take some, promise!

Weirdly enough, parked to collect youngest from school and walked past my car!!! Well I say my car, but it was a V-reg, spitting image of my car - same colour and everything! But you know what?! It wasn't anywhere near as pretty!
