Hi everyone. Just waiting for delivery of my new (and first ) Skoda and am really looking forward to it. I have just changed from an MG ZT (2.5V6) to a new Octavia 1.9TD Elegance. Loved the MG although was getting poor economy with town driving (to be expected really with such a big block!). Originally visited the local Skoda dealer in Aberdeen (Specialist Cars) to have a look at a Superb, however they had a couple of new Octavias in the showroom which really caught my eye. Took a test drive and was really impressed and signed up there and then! So here I am just waiting for delivery. The MG has already gone as a trade in and I am running a Fabia estate which the dealership gave me to use until the Octavia arrives in the next couple of weeks. I am really impressed by it as well, even though it is only a 1200cc. It is really nippy and only uses a tenner of fuel of week for my town driving (instead of

I too am a Skoda convert. I have had a varied selection of cars, and can honestly say that the Skoda is by far the best car I have owned.
