Seen far too many of these crimes to mention, but i've always wondered how many of the cars out there with the Nurbergring sticker on the back have actually been round "The Ring" ?

i can honestly say i've never seen ford use the name sport on any of their cars.

The both the mk1 & mk2 Focus had a 'Sport' model in their line up. :)

never seen them before, i thought the mk1 focus had a zetec as the sports model under the ST.

and it wasn't a sport in teh mk1 it was a TDCi sport :P

Well, they do look very similar... ;)

not a bad conversion and fairly common conversion.

Read somewhere that Ferrari took the makers of the kit to court and sucsessfully put a stop to the manufacture of the kit and also tried to get the details of the kits sold so that they could get the cars too.... not sure if it was true....

Thats not as good as the kits you can get to turn a pontiac fiero into a lambo.. i just so happen to have a pontiac fiero on the drive if anyone is interested in buying one :P

The there is also a kit to turn a Pug 407 coup into a Ferrari as well.

Back in the 80s and 90s i remember seeing loads of Fiats with Fire Engine badges on them.

Anyone could see that most were not red, didnt have a ladder and blue lights on the roof and no where enough room for 6 blokes in breathing apparatus, generator, cutting gear, hoses and 2000 litres of water!!

I don't know whether this was supposed to be ironic or not, but...

The Fiat Uno engine was indeed a 'fire' engine, it was an acronym for Fully Robotised Integrated Engine.

I bought a new one in 1988 and it was indeed a terrific little thing, if a tad fragile.

Aye my Dad had several of them. Being Italian the performance was completely random. He had one 1.0l Uno that would go well over a ton and a second one that could hardly hit 80. His were pretty reliable too.

A mate of mine put a "Turbo" sticker on his 1.2 Nova. He still gets abuse about it after more than 10 years.

An interesting beast this morning. A 1.0 Hyundai AtoZ, apparently in V8 configuration :D

OK then

Steve

I followed a Ford Fusion 2 with a Porsche "turbo" badge on the back yesterday.

Was most funny.

Fully Robotised Integrated Engine.

A FRIE engine? Can you cook chips in it?

Really? I rate the one I drove in 1992/3 as the worst car I have ever driven. Slightly below the Allegro 1750.

Twas a Pug 406 - highly amusing

That's the problem with posting on here when I am sober, I can't really cope with real life.

( Note to self....stay pi55ed Graham, things seem to work out much better, it's pointless trying to undo the habits of a lifetime in a vain attempt to be sensible...you know it's going to end in tears:rofl:)

Why are you selling the MX5 Grunps?

Saw a faded 'M' badge on a X5 this morning. Even though the badges were on either side of the rear hatch... it still read MX5! Muppet!
