Saw 3 un-marked police cars yesterday operating on the M6 and A45/M1

First one was a Dark colour (could be black or blue) BMW 3 series reg VX08FYU spotted on hard shoulder just before Jcn 10 on M6

Next 2 were a 57 plate Silver vRS estate and a 08 plates silver vRS Hatch. I didn't get the full reg plates as they were doing mach 9 down the A45 and joined the M1 and shot off.

ive noticed a surge of BMW's being used recently too, just wondering if they getting rid of the vectras?

Unmarked beemer last year on the M4 towards Reading as well, IIRC silver and estate but it's a while ago now so cant remember

west yorkshire seem to be getting a few beamers too. see one marked estate filling up everyday.

It's all beemers in Lancs it would seem, from marked 335d estates, to grey 335d coupe's!! It's just not cricket

Northants police have a few silver & black VRS and a nice new black mk2 VRS with some noticable extras. Looks lowered, and I'm sure I heard a dump valve too.

the police use all different under cover cars from new to old bangers.......always loads on the m4 at shift changeover as there garage is just off junction 11:thumbup:

Seen some 3.2 V6 vectras on 55 plates doing the rounds in Oxford city centre,one grey,the other in black

And a Laguna in Wheatley

Dark blue Mondeo seen bottom end of M6 -also seen in Rugby -so possibility it's stabled there

A while ago Im sure I saw a new silvery-gold colour Jag (XJ8 or X-Type) with huge alloys on it, theyd pulled someone over on the m69 east bound with the grill lights, etc. going. I was going the other way, so was only a fleeting glimpse, but bit hard to mistake a Jag, dont know where it was from, might not have even been local, could have just been on an escort.

@K04 must be from the Thame traffic base not seen the laguna before.

Just watch roadwars, and you'll soon pick up on their hunting grounds
