Great, I've managed to get one.

Currently the skoda fabia vrs (all fabias to that end) do not have a workshop manual.

I've tried the ETKA, but this parts catalogue didn't list the fabia vrs.

So, I have just got hold of the Skoda/seat/audi/VW ETOS parts catalogue, and hey presto the fabia vrs is covered. Not quite a workshop manual, however the exploded drawings give an indication of how things are assembled along with all relevant part numbers.

Also covered are the fabia, octavia, superb, favorit, felicia, and pickup.

At least now I have something to refer to...

Seriously, how do we get a hold of this holy book you have discovered?

Is it a physical book/catalogue? -Or is it downloadable?

Would be interested to know where I could get one of these from and how much it would set me back

The latest version of ETKA covers up to 2005 MY so includes the Fabia vRS and Octavia II.

Thats the one - it's release v4.9 which supposidly covers all models upto 2005 (they must use crystal balls to tell whats going to be released in 2005).

It looks very similar to the ETKA catalogue, but covers a wider range of makes and models.

Easy, 2005 model years are out now for septemeber delivery. My car is an 04 Model year that i bought last October (2003). The model year usually runs 6 months ahead of the actual year. Thats why when looking up parts etc they ask for you chassis number and not you reg, the reg dont mean didly.

ETKA needs a dongle to work unless it is a 'hacked' version as sometimes advertised on eBay. Recent sellers there have become scarce - possibly because of copyright infringement implications.

Which is why ETOS was launched for third party companies. I dont think it should be available to Joe Public.

ETOS can be set up so you can order parts online from dealers.
