from the side it looks quite nice, think it would be the front that puts me off, but's it the same story with new Fabia, I've had a couple to drive and depending on the colour it looks alright, If I were for example to get say a new Fabia it would have to be in black, as someone has stated sure the 3008 will look quite nice in say black for example.

Not that bad imho. Still wouldn't buy one, though :D

Nice glass house, shame about the rest.

I mean, does the World really need something that looks like a Suburban Useless Vehicle which has been slammed 8 inches?

Has it got a Glass roof as well?? That would put me off as having seen this on the 207 the car becomes like a hot house in the winter with the amount of glass steaming up, be nice in the summer months through!

Looks like it Davie, but if so it'll be an option.

It looks no worse than any other new Peugeot imo.

Is it supposed to be their version of the new Citroen P3 Picasso?

I like it!!

Butter than some Skodas I could mention.

Don't think the Multiplas has anything to worry about in the ugly stakes .Used to say (thinking bout the 2cv) that only the French would have the gall to make a car that ugly ,and the Brits daft enough to buy it ,but the Italians have jined the club:rofl::eek:

I think its ugly - have you seen the front!? :thumbdwn:

Peugeot oh dear.... I think the whole marque has lost it from a drivers point of view. In the 80s and 90s you had pretty cars that drove beautifully with sublime handling. Where has it all gone wrong? Don't like the looks and judging from a drive of he 308 all the chassis engineers have been replaced by gibbons to cut costs, obviously.

As per Pitt, last pug I liked was the 205

Mind you,I'm totally anti new cars anyway. They all look pants (exotica aside) and I hate gadgetry too

Its not so bad, and i love that C3 picasso!

It's the same car ;)

If it wasn't French I'd consider that, I think the car looks quite nice.

  • 6 years later...

6 long years later and our new 308 petrol is giving us 1000km/tank (max 53L) living in the country = 5L/100km.

It's a diesel in every other respect with 230nm/1750rpm! and just 1.2L engine.

~7000km and a sensor is giving a false reading but otherwise loving it.

Just looked at your profile for a little more info on your current car and I'm now even more confused!

"1/12 NEW 2yr old 103DSG plus DTUK CRD2+"

Get the DSG, and the DTUK and whatever it is is 2 years old, but the rest is lost on me.

The 308 is TBH's.

The Yeti was 2 years in dealer storage (they weren't selling).

'Yeti' was the missing bit then,  and what does '103' stand for?

We're into metrics as in KWs (140bhp).

That's what happens when you stray fm the Yeti forum - fixed.

We are EU Metric,

so the way VWG do it 140 PS sounds more that 138.08 hp

This thread has made me chuckle so much, only because I've just bought a 3008 two weeks back and it's in dog poop brown! I'm taking a bit of stick from the lads at work for it but needed something high up for the Mrs. Hopefully I'll be able to give it to her in 12 months and I'll get something better!
