Hello all,

I've got quite a lot of (paint) wax on the black door stops/side strips etc, I was a bit careless with my application last week due to lousy weather. How best to clean the trim, I don't need it perfect, but black instead of blue would probably be a good thing

Peanut oil (or even smooth peanut butter) will bring plastic trim back to looking like new.

Peanut butter

Preferably smooth

Agitate with a nail brush and wash off before the neighbourhood cats and dogs appear

I'll give that a try if I have one, I know I don't have any peanut butter at the moment!

Try cleaning foam (or APC) with toothbrush...

yup, Auto Glym Bumper Care will shift it

AG tyre dressing or back to black also good for removing stuff off the trim.

I find this stuff only masks the wax, and after a few downpours it is washed off.
