My car is coming upto service time, The main dealer has quoted 200 for the service +50 for the brake fluid and 50 for the MOT.

Just wondering is this sounds a reasonable amount to pay? or can anyone recommend anyone else in the Cheltenham area worth getting a quote from.

Been quoted £180 for a 40k (oil + filter, fuel filter, air filter and pollen filter) at DSB autos in Nottingham

Do it yourself. None of it is difficult.......

I bought my Skoda Octavia SLXi 1999 a couple of days ago. It has a FSH, and ironically its only 2 days until it needs to be serviced again. Phoned main dealer and was told £235.

Though on checking out the cost of the parts separately they only came to about £60.
