Featured Replies

This evening at about five o clock my sister in law had her one month old, silver, five door 08 plate R32 jacked from her in the huyton / knotty ash area.. by two young low life scummers who claimed to have a gun !!

They dragged her from the car and made off along with another car which was waiting at the end of the street .. as soon as i get details on the other car i will update post so people can be (Aware !) I just hope they wrap it round a lamp post at great speed !!!!!!

PN58 VSF IS THE REG OF THE STOLEN R32 !!

And the theiving $%^& were in a silver V reg car !!

Hope she's not too shocked. Auto door locks are a great thing, anyone that has them should ensure they are enabled.

Yeah it was as she was getting out of the car to let the kids in .she had the keys in her hands .think the kids seen what happened too.

It's alright saying lock the doors but when you have a gun pointed at you you might not be leaving it locked. There is technology you can have installed in cars that makes car jackers not get very far. You can hand the car over to them with the engine running. These include things like the Clifford blackjax system whereby if the door opens, you need to input a code or eventually the sirens go off and the engine cuts out. Other way is the mobile phone controlled things, like Clifford callguard or toad text alert, where you can cut off the fuel pump with a text message.

The sad think is that this is almost the second post about car jacking (ok one in oxon not full blown carjack -but possibility).

Much more and the South African legwarmer system might be a good retro fit

lol i love that leg warmer thing lol

cant beleive it

hope the smash it up and kill them selfes

SCUM

thats my 2 pence worth!

billy

Hope shes ok ,and the kids, sorry to hear about this matey, its certainly a scary world we live in today

Hope they catch the bast***s!!!

And that she gets the car back in one piece

We think it was a V reg silver escort they were in !

If i had a desirable car lioke a scooby, evo, R32, first mod would be remote tracking and fuel cut system.

Glad she's OK though

I'd be more in favour of a small (or large) remotely operated explosive device in the region of the petrol tank tbh, or a remotely activated 12 inch blade that fired up through the seat base :D

True, but how far do you trust VAG electronics ;)

Certainly no more than 12 inches.

Glad to hear no one was seriously harmed, I hope the little thieving feckers get something nasty and painful coming their way sometime soon (tree trunk?)

unfortunetely quite a few of them in Liverpool

Glad everyone is ok, that's the main thing. About time some serious jail terms were handed down to these scum bags. Better still, bring back hanging.

Stickdeath.coms anti-auto-theft devices rock.

Hope the thieving scum do crash and burn their mongrel hides.

Another bad 'happenings' post :( Hope it was nothing more than shaken up (which is bad enough in itself)

As for the auto-locks, would you want to call someones bluff if they've got a gun? is a car worth (potentially) your life?

Which is a good point for insurance, are you covered for a car jacking? Is it a case of 'yes as long as you put up resonable resistance'?, I would think it would be too easy a way for people to rip off insurance companies for there not to be certain clauses in effect.

Regardless tho, hope your sister in law is OK and that the scumbags who did it find a nice strong barrier at speed, about neck height would do it.

sorry to hear that, its the sorry state of this world and society.

If you can afford an R32 you can afford to get the anti-hijacking technology installed  Next time let them have the car with the keys, and you'll get it back in no time. For an example of how clifford blackjax works see.... YouTube - Clifford Blackjax Alarm By Precision Alarms

Maybe even a tracker too. Would also reduce the insurance premium which can only be welcome on such an expensive to insure car.

An R32 isn't really a lot of cash. Dealers were recently selling them for about £16k new.

I like the way that video shows a grands worth of alarm fitted to a £500 car....

Grands worth? try £300 fitted

The dirty Scumbags :finger: , I know how your sister feels . some months ago two ba5tard5 tried to car jack my A5 .but lucky for me and unluckey for them two guys across the street came to my aid and managed to kick the crap out of them:D . It still left me rattled, even a bit paranoid:( . The two scumbags got away with a smack on the wrist, the law is an ***:thumbdwn: so my advice is if you find them, send them on a holiday;) one way ticket

Ok so the car has turned up about a mile away from where it was stolen . dont think there is any damage but the police have the car and its got to go to the dealers to be checked over ?

That took a while!

Hope she's ok, sod the car!

Must admit I lock my doors, always wary. Big spate of handbag glass smashing in Ireland a while back, you know stationary traffic... Crime will increase in these coming months, main thing is not to risk yourself.

Quip for future "take it, saves me getting rid of the body"
