How's the V8 sound or is it "damped" Audi style. The RS8(*I think it's the 8's) they use at circuits sound excellent under load...which I think from Pauls MG is what a v8 needs...a bit of load.

btw the Audi is a sweet car.. was other option over my MG but cost swung me in MG's direction... oh and RWD!

A beautiful car - I'm very jealous

The engine sounds real sweet, and drives like a racing car when you want it to, yet lets you waft around at low revs with great ease. Haven't really pushed it hard yet, but it feels like it has great potential.

Most people haven't got a clue of the power that's within, which adds to the fun for me.

I will definately bring it to a meet one day!

Lovely car

Just out of interest , I was at Silverstone for the Le Mans Endurance Series a couple of weeks ago and the pace car was the new A6 . (not too sure about that grille yet ?) It did not look anything special but it made a really deep burbling noise as it rumbled past . Does anyone know what engine it had ? It was wearing German plates i think ?

And it's a manual too. Damnit, where can I get my hands on

does look very nice indeed, not sure about the blue seats things, think it might ruin it a bit for me like in the focus RS, although the focus interior is far far worse than anything else i have seen
