Another BOGOF deal for new cars

Featured Replies

Since when is a car that you can't sit in for an hour without getting "numb bum" a good motorway mile muncher? For comparison I can do 4 hours or so non-stop in the Octy with no more ill effects than a stiff right ankle.

Sounds like you need to eat a bit more Ken and get some natural padding :D I drove mine for 10 hrs a day, never got a numb rear tbh.

I've tried that, and it goes to my belly, not my bum! :P There's also the bit where I need an A/B road blaster not a dual cabbageway repmobile.

I'll get the guy at Noble Car's to give you a ring later, got some cracking deals on right now.

Shifts stock numbers, and they probably have a load of vectras to get rid of now the Insignia is out. You also probably wouldn't get as good a discount on the Vectra compared to if you bought it on its own!

I agree - the deal is only as attaractive as the price they want for the Vectra!

My local Vauxhall dealer, just before Christmas has a brand new 1.8 Exclusiv for (from memory) £7995 or £8650.

It was displayed on a raised platform and seemed to have been sold within a few days!

Whatever your personal opinion is of Vectras, that is a hell of a lot of brand new car for the money.

I personally like the Vectra estate in high spec Design or Elite with options - the latest generation drives well and is a good solid car. The main problem for me is the excessive list price and cost to spec it up, which makes a Octavia L&K Estate look such a bargain.

I have recently seen one or two very low mileage 2008 Vectra Elite Estate V6 CDTi 3.0 for around £12-£13k. This price represents around 50% depreciation in a few months and a lot of car for the money.:D

If you want one, I've been told a CDTI Design Estate Auto will leave the showroom for 14k brand new right now.

Woot! Corsa 1.0. I'll take it, chav it up and bend it 'round a tree somewhere. Good fun is to be had in this car:D No getting laid tho...:(
