Back to Volkswagen..

Featured Replies

Well, the Mad Wife decided she wanted a change...

After having her Fabia SE for 18 months ( the longest I/we have ever ever had a car in 30 years of driving ) she went mad last week and had me looking for a replacement.

So this morning she picked up a 14 month old 2.0TDI Sport Eos, with 8k miles in a fetching red with only VW as the previous owner.

We got a decent trade for the Fabia, and a girt lump off the Eos.

I must say I'm impressed......

Pics to follow, if anybody wants some, and yes, I know it's going to leak....

Lovely cars the Eoses, but why a diseasal? :(

Enjoy it though Mrs Grumpy.

Have they not fixed the leaks yet?

Congrats on the new arrival  I have moved this from "Spotted was it you?" :D

Have they not fixed the leaks yet?

Mel ( the salesman, who we have dealt with for years ) says he has not had one in for any major leaks yet. He has had several back for minor leaks, but these are mostly caused by the owners never actually using the roofs, causing the seals to compress, and not lubricating the seals to keep them supple.

Ours will be up and down like a brides nightie, and will be kept in tip top fettle by yours truly, so I am not anticipating any major problems.

I may never get to drive it though....

I do like the Eos!

Good choice, we demand pics!

Nice car Graham :)

Well done Grumplestiltskin. I really like the EOS.....

Oooh just had deja Vu lol.

I do like them, but as said the roof will probably leak.

Seen a fair few leaking ones when i was at VW, pain to fix too.

You would look gay (er) driving that. Nice choice though, I saw two today on the motorway... I do like the way they look.
