Hiya.. I am nearing the time to get new rubber for my tavia vrs, the standard ones were 205x50x17's with rim protection. These cost much pennies. Any tried and tested recommendations for cheaper alternatives on standard rims? would 215x45x17's work?? Still want rim protection if poss..

You want to go up to 225x45 17. They are cheaper than all the above sizes and fit no problem onto the tavia vRS alloys.

I have a set of four 215/45/17 Pirelli P7000's for sale.

2 are almost as brand new, 2 have about 1 or 2mm of wear, about 2000 miles of use max.
