Fiat Panda 100hp

Featured Replies

Has anyone driven one of these? I am considering trading my Fabia vRS in for one when the warrenty is up in March as you can get them new for £7k.

I like em.

My son has one, in blue. Not bad to drive, no leg room in rear and the boot is very small. Good 6 speed box and engine has a sport button which tightens up the steering and makes the trottle more responsive. It dances about on the road at speed due to low profile tyres Fuel tank is very small so your always at the filling station, Would I by one Yes. Go take one for a spin, there fun ....Andy

I've driven one, you'll notice the lack of power compaired to the vRS, but when you get used to revving the nuts off the panda (7.5k rev limit if it remember rightly!) you'll enjoy it, choose a twisty backroad and you'll have an absolute hoot, the handling is great fun! garunteed to put a smile on your face!

top fun , i nearly went from a VRS to one , but in the end it was more to tax and did less to the gallon

Captain Slow in Top Gear has one and he loves it.

BUY ONE

You will have NO regret's, it's cheap, practical, reliable, well built and most of all, fun. It will surprise a lot of faster cars (where have we heard that before).

my Mrs has one and I have regular access to it :) the only criticism she has is the harsh ride, but I actually like that. Honestly, has to be one of the best small hot hatches out there, the only competition imho for the Panda is the Suzuki Swift, but that's a lot more expensive.

BTW, before the Fix It Again Tomorrow brigade pipe up :) we have had no issues with it, and before that she has had Punto HGT's, Sportings and again no reliability problems save for a variator getting noisy on the HGT.

do it :)

72,000 miles in my GPS now in less than 2 years, and still going strong, never let me down, few problems in that time, a couple of wheel bearings, a seat base, a door handle, and an ABS sensor, all done under warrenty

On the look out for something small frugal but fun myself to replace the Octy (if it ever sells ) and called in at a Fiat garage to try on a little 500, Sat in a Panda and afraid its a nono for the more robust frame, I couldn't shut the door for my knees:rofl:
