How many miles from a tank

Featured Replies

Anyone know how to stop the MPG reading resetting when you turn the engine off?

There's a "1" setting which is a journey statistic. Then there's a "2" setting which is since last reset...you can toggle between the two using the button on the indicator stalk...

Although setting "1" is only a journey statistic if your journies are more than 2 hours apart ;)

I dont think i have a '2' setting :s I only have one that tells me the mpg that im getting now, it changes every 3 or 4 seconds. Then i have the journey setting which seems to be reset to 0 along with the miles travelled everytime i start the car.

Do you have a little "1" in a black square on the display?

Rob.

I do, but that mpg display resets to 0 each morning.

Yeah...that's the journey one...if you push the button on your trip computer stalk so that "1" toggles to a "2", it will give you longer duration readings...

Rob.

Would that be the little button underneath the stork?

Off the top of my head, I can't remember...but try it, it won't break anything.

Unless you push it *really* hard... :D

A short press of the button under the wiper lever allows you to select memory1 - single trip memory or memory 2 - total trip. ( p18 manual )

Ooooo, im off outside to try it :D

Just been out to mess with my trip computer. Since i got it ive done 2821 miles, at an average speed of 33mph, its taken me 85hrs and 5 mins to do those miles and i got 43.9mpg LOL

I suppose i should have read the manual eh? :p

I find the manual confusing. The index at the back never has the things I am looking for and it is difficult to tell if the the item you are reading about is on the model you own. Nearly everthing has a * on it indicating it might not be fitted on my car ! I like the term review window pane !
