and the skirts were from butts of bawtry and i think there made by autostyl but it was a few years ago now, aerial is a cheap motorist shop item but is for looks only as reception is poor and if you do a search on the forum you'll find a couple of threads that detail how to tint your headlights, hope this helps

Thanks for the comments people, still truly suprised that so many people like it :D

jonnycatbiscuit - i don't mind you doing your car at all,at the end of the day its not copyrighted but suprised there's somebody out there that would want to do this to there car too LOL and mine wasn't expensive at all, probably cost me less than twenty quid in materials :D

Thanks Dan:thumbup:,

gone in to my local tint shop today to have the windows all retinted (i ripped my back screen) and the graphics applied. I loved the movie, and almost bought myself a Mustang because of it (I will, one day!!)

The kids love the idea, and I'm probably going to end up using it to take my 15 year old to his prom in a few months...

Top work, your's has always been one of the best Octys in the UK, even better when seen in the flesh, now even eye-catching.

I see you've had your arches pulled to accommodate your rims, they do look noticable in the photos but in reality how much have they been stretched by?

WOW looks even better with the lights

that is awesome.

Its very kind of you to say so,thanks :D

and i don't know how much the arches have been pulled to be honest as i just went to town with a friends arch roller, initially i just took the arch liners out and rolled the inner skin flat just above the arch lip but then i thought i'd start to flare the arch lips to give more clearance should i choose to get some wider rims and as i was going to have to get them filled and painted it didn't matter how far i went lol

i now have 15mm spacers on the back which i've had machined down a bit to try and get it right, still need to take a little bit off the passenger side one as it slightly rubs the face of the rim if you hit a big dip in the road

I absolutely love it. I've always loved "themed" cars and yours is fantastic. I was one of the people who liked it the old way as well. Saw it in the flesh at E38 18mths ago. Video's classic. For me, it's not a question of balls, it's a question of cost. My boggo silver vRS needs a few other things before I consider a makeover!

Great job! Please don't make it temporary.

Excellent! Thats a cracking mod to make to a car - especially an Octavia! I am dead impressed

That is awesome. It looks great, I'd love to see peoples faces as you drive down the road.

Lol can't believe this has been dragged out of the archives, must be after someone mentioned a decepticon octy in the spotted section but it's not me as mine was de stickered a few years back so someone else must have had the same idea and done one :) and cheers for the kind words Clive :)

Holy thread revival batman......

D, I think its due an update :)

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This is the best mk1 I've seen.

Top work fella.

Love it!!!! We own cars to get around but for most of us it's about fun!!! And that is fun, well done that man.

Mmmmmmm I feel a yellow vinyl wrap coming on hahaha

Been on here since 2008 and have just seen this

Love it, I've just got some white 1 1/2" square decepticon logos to go on my

car in the tinted rear side widows. Mrs Grr has a couple of yellow Autobot

stickers in the same tinted windows on her Fiat 500. So, it had to be done really.

It's nothing permanent, just a sticker. I'll peel 'em off when I get bored with 'em.

Only cost a couple of quid.

P.S. the Transformers simulator ride at Universal Studios is awesome. :)

its awesome dude

Love it, has none of the yellow vrs owners MOT thought of doin a Bumblebee ? Just a thought.
