Just collected car !:D:D When I said that I did not want the car because of the extra charge for the paint they accepted it was their error and agreed to take the loss themselves. Off to sunny Weston Super Mare now to sit in the sun and read the manual

I was there yest gettin some arch liners for my mk 1 vRS. if its the one I am thinkin of urs was out the front then went into the guarage. looked v nice,

they also had the LE vRS out the back, to me it looked a little high!? but the seats were very nice.

Hi Billy , I know where you mean about the garage, not far off the end of the bypass. Did not get the car from there , Went to that garage Last Saturday looked at the ex demo's that they had , drove a vrs for the the first time and knew that was the car I wanted. We were not able to meet each other on price, so went to another dealer on Sunday , the car was sitting there waiting for me and done the deal there and then , collected on Friday. Had a run to Gosport yesterday , Motorway and A34 down and came back via the back roads to try it out on country roads. Well pleased with it :D, every thing is going fine, I have to keep remembering to set the handbrake !! the last car had an electronic handbrake that set when you turned the ignition off. The only thing I miss is the automatic dipping rear mirror, have seen details of one that clips over existing mirror so may get one of those. Have to spend the day now reoganising how I am going to get my spares for work in the back of the car , (I am a service engineer).

Only got about a week to get booked in and paid to put your car on stand, £8 a ticket to go watch some track action and see loads of other skodas can't be bad eh?
