Hi Richie, Yes I will be looking out for you, Had a bit of bad news half an hour ago. I arranged to buy the car from the dealer on Sunday and arranged for collection on Friday. The deal was the car + paint protection + gap insurance. The paper work was all signed on Sunday with the agrement that it was subject to the managers approval and he would check the paper work over on Monday. They have just phoned half an hour ago to say we forgot to charge for the metalic paint, we want another £400. Now I wonder why they left it right to the last minute to check the figures and it is too late for me to back out. I will not post the dealers name on the forum but will tell you when we meet up some time.

You have a 14 day cooling off period, I would demand for them to drop the £400 as it was there error. If they don't, say you'll go elsewhere, bet your bottom dollar they will forget the £400..

I don't recognise the places you have mentioned, but I often go to Bristol to visit family and will be around the Westbury on Trim area next weekend. Well, saying that I will probably be at Cribbs, down at Cabot and probably Park st most of the time. Look out for my 06 black Fabia vrs with a roof rack on.

Bristol's a large city really, I'm always about bristol in one area or another so i'll keep my eyes pealed!

I originally thought briskoda ment Bristol skoda as opose to brisk skoda! Especially when I saw so many from the southwest area!

Just collected car !:D:D When I said that I did not want the car because of the extra charge for the paint they accepted it was their error and agreed to take the loss themselves. Off to sunny Weston Super Mare now to sit in the sun and read the manual
