More grooves the better IMHO.

About £80 too!

EBC disks are recommeended by the Golf enthusiasts that have upgraded.

Ive got Zero 60 discs on mine, most happy with them and look the nuts! bought them from Awsome gti.

mine get some extreme abuse and they are the standard oe 312's.with ferrodo ds2500 pads:thumbup:

I was going to say nothing wrong with the OE discs.

G88's were fantastic, but a bit hummmmy

I've found the OEM spec Brembo's that you can buy in GSF are really good. They also do OEM spec Pagid pads which work great too.

the oem spec brembos tend to warp on 312's tho so i hear, tho i think it may be a combo of the discs with the brembo pads iirc

Are Mintex the standard fit items? I keep looking around for a Mintex Brake box so I can get discs and pads for around £90 but I'm worried about buying the wrong ones!
