fabia vrs gear selection problems

Featured Replies

Mine is in the garage on Monday to be "fixed." They agreed to change the gear linkages, but that was four months ago (I just haven't had the time to get it to the garage...)

So we will see what they do... They still insist the shuddering is normal.

The trouble is, mine will be out of warranty before next winter and these are all cold weather problems. It's all a bit pants.

mines also does it on ocassion... only when first to second though... doesnt want to come out of first... this is only at low revs tho... take it to over 2.5k revs and it never happens

Not an issue; you raised the problem well within the warranty period, so it must be fixed to your satisfaction without charge.

Check the linkage alignment, and the security of all the bolts on the mountings, including the ones on the brackets the bushes are in.
