Ok after receiving the exhaust from TokyoPhil - they were able to see the exhaust are quite similar, just where the tailpipe sits is the main difference!Anyone interested in doing a group buy??The need help on info for the tailpipe design - think they are probably only going to do 1 or 2! So I've set up a pollOvalso90x120mmb.jpgSingle roundsr80mmb.jpgTwin roundtr80mmb.jpg

flattened oval , to sort of match the bumper cut out , as per original

Twin pipes as per the Ibiza FR.

Cheers

Dave.

As close to standard as poss :)

Just out of interest, will this be a cat back, or turbo back system with de-cat?

If its turbo back, and cheap, then i'd have a Oval for sure.

Stainless right? Not much point making a mild steel system in my opinion.

Well you say that but how long do most people tend to keep modified cars?? Most mild steel systems would give 5 years of regular use before giving up to the tin worm.

Outa the three - Twin round!

I'm interested, either twin like the miltek or oval like the magnex.

Also how much?

As above

You got my interest, depending on price - twin oval for me :D

I want mine for 10 years atleast really.

Whats the guide price?

Think it will be stainless!

I'll need names to see what the price is going to be - going to take some measurements and pics for jetex tomorrow - see if they can Photoshop the tailpipe styles onto my pics

Put your name on the list if you want one - ideally need 5 sold orders for the production to go ahead!

I won't put my name down for the group buy, yet! But I'm very interested..

As for the poll, oval all the way.

Once you've got a bit more information from Jetex, I'll confirm my name for the buy. Would ideally want a stainless catback. Can't be fussed with a de-cat pipe, couldn't afford having it re-mapped (again) and don't want to risk over-spooling.. *Sigh* Goes without say though, the option of de-cat is always nice. :)

I think the first shout would be to get the Cat-back system sorted first. I'm liking the oval and the new one too - think they could both be winners!

I'm interested, but wana see pics, and wana hear a price before I put my name down.

Also where is Jetex based for the fitting. I've got Demon Tweeks about 30 mins from me, and they have the miltek. So need to make sure its worth it.

Update - looks llike its going to be the oval tailpipe for the prototype - material is probably going to be stainless, this section is going to be cat back, but cat-bypass or sports cat options are being looked into! prices to be discussed

Very interested knowing it'll be based on the above style. Catback should do nicely. Look forward to hearing a rough cost but I'm a provisional yes for the group buy, looking even more likely now.

Keep us in the loop. :)

I dont think people want a cat back system do they. No point on a TDi as the cat is the main flow restriction.
