RS Re - Mapping

Featured Replies

Think any member who has been to Horners have found they've had good service (make

of that what you will ;) ) though usually it's the Manchester branch.

That said, Bury is now my nearest branch so it makes sense for me to go there now...

Rob,

I found the skoda dealers the most friendly and relaxed dealers Ive ever been to..

I just need to order the Vrs very soon!!

"What figures are they really getting?"

210.1bhp @ 5070 232.2ftlb @ 4312 in 'normal' performance mode

223.3bhp @ 5914 249ftlb @ 4176 with a 4bar FPR

just an example

Kev - what does the 4 bar refer to? As I understand it, the standard boost is 0.5 bar. You are quoting 8 times that, it must be measured differently. Can you explain?

I happened to call at the same dealers that bandit1 is referring to. (Totally unrelated matter, just got chatting.)

They are quoting/guaranteeing 215bhp or 250bhp depending on which re-map you go for. Both the same price. These figures are a bit different to those quoted by Revokev.

The FPR is the fuel pressure regulator off a TT, required for the 250bhp option apparently.

All this may as well be written in Mandarin as far as I'm concerned.

Ugh...just want car to go faster...ugh...can you make car go faster...ugh...

Hmmm.....i'm more and more tempted...

Holiday first, then a re-map unless the fickle finger of fate dictates otherwise ::
