Well it's time for some new rubber all round on my 18' RS4's, i have a set of 17inch solids which also need new rubber all round I can't deside which to run for awhile?

Theres not allot in it price either (£80- £100 a corner) , so thought I'd see what the consensus is here...

Thing is they both look good, I have voted for the RS4's, even tho I have solids on mine, which I like on mine.

Slightly off topic, i like the graphics you have on the car, where did you get the chequered strip?

That would be the Solid's then, for me I like my Solid's but I why not use one as a summer runner and the other as a winter runner, that way you can chop and change and get lofe out of both set of tyres............

so i should get rubber for the RS4's first then, how the car got throught the MOT before a purchased it is beyond me as all 4 tyres (solids) are under the limit, and one has a screw in it!!!!!! :eek:Lucky i already had the rs4's to put straight on.

Cleaned mine (solids) today with some of this magic cleaner type stuff. Came up a treat.

Is the second pic of the solids, if so, they look better than the other ones. I used to have RS4 alloys on my cupra and they didnt look that great. The solids are a little rounder and not as sharp edged as the RS4s. Personal choice i guess. The center cap for the RS4s also looks a bit on the bug side

Rubbish!

Buy something like these:

Merc rims ftw! :)

you have got to be kidding!

I think you should buy some RS6's (they even come with rubber on them) and then I can have your RS4's.
