Bikers....grrr....

Featured Replies

That is a really well reasoned argument and hats off to you for coming up with it.

As an alternative you could hang back a hundred metres or so from the car in front. But I do appreciate that that would be no fun ;)

During my bike lessons we were advised to do a few miles per hour above the given speed limit so that we'd get in front of any traffic as thats where you're more likely to be seen.

I saw a police bike the other day pull up in the right hand lane of a junction that joins a two lane one way system with a car to his left... he pulled out into the right lane only to immediately pull in front of the car that left the junction at the same time as him and take the next left turning. Only a matter of a few yards... impatient git.

"One thing I cannot stand, is car drivers who try to block bikers from filtering through slow moving or stationary traffic. That's just plain mean, and very bad manners."

I'll always do this. A few weeks ago a bike chipped a door mirror casing by clipping it with his handlebars as he barged past me through a very narrow gap between two stationary traffic columns. He acknowledged my angry toot on the horn by a waving sorry and leaving me to foot the bill...

*Sigh* so one idiots actions mean you go out of your way to hinder everyone else. Top work.
